HistoryPixieland Parties was established in 2003 after Trixie the Pixie noticed a need for professional children's entertainers in the Newcastle Region. A Hunter Region local herself, Trixie set up Pixieland headquarters in Hamilton and hasn't looked back!
Trixie has been a performer her entire life - dancing & acting her way through childhood, high school and then later studying drama as part of her B.Arts (Communication Studies) at the University of Newcastle, 2000-2002. She has been teaching dance for many years and simply loves to work with children!! See www.huntervalleydancecentre.com.au
In 2004, Trixie began to recruit & train fellow entertainers in the pixie arts. From here the Pixieland troupe began to grow.
With many talented & energetic performers committed to providing fun & professional children's entertainment, there is never a dull moment around Pixieland! From a variety of backgrounds including childcare, music/singing, education, drama, dance, and more - the pixies never cease to amaze audiences of all ages.
